especially the synths are really psychotic haha

Dunno about the drums though. maybe it a bit too simple both in sound and composition. Also the mix sounds a tad distant. But I really Enjoy the synths which make up for it :D

Well thats different!

hmmmmm...

Ok thats quite different. I mean the drums have all the characteristics of glitch and breakbeat and the synths are 8 bit and trancy which is pretty cool.

The composition is sweetnessss I like the build ups and break downs and the body is fairly solid.
The mixing makes me itchy though hahaha. whats with the extreme panning? thats not a way to blend stuff together you know :P also overcompression kicks in all the time but thats FL I supose ad the snare and... well everything needs some verbs to make it a whole in my opinion.

The song is so nicely done though that its worth a tenner.

oh and by the way thanks for dedicating it to me! You really didnt have to.

yeah idk why i panned it like that, but it didn't really hurt it in my opinion. ABout the mixing yeah it hard as tits to mix fuckin arpeggiators. They take up to much of the spectrum. Thank for the support.

Yeah man your a pretty nice remixer.

As a mixing engineer though.. you need to learn what overcompression is :p
I know you want it to pump and all but dude. Its crushing the dynamic properties of the song. Its very painfull to listen to after a while cause your ears dont get a break.

Also some aspects of the song are simply blown away by the rest. There is no room for anything cause of the over compression!

And a Soundgoodizer... well thats not an effect :P its a preset probably and gives you no real control over whats happening. I have of course NO idea what it looks like but it might cause some of these problems.

yeah I can see where this is going sort of.

I like it, but of course it should be a lot longer. it feels like its building up to a climax but the climax is never there. Sort of bummer eh?

Surely did not expect that. I like the track. It still misses some structure and it sounds a bit dry concerning the mix Some more additive FX would be in place.

It quite repetative. the piano is a nice touch but has a hard time blending in.

uhm... about the surround. its a STEREO file (2 way) :p you can listen to it on a 5.1 but it will not make much of a difference. cause its not encoded and probably not mixed in in a 5.1 panning system.

Try making a song out of it. Its a good start though :)

I think your concept works very well. Its just that I do not really like the drum sounds. Sounds a bit out of place. The rhythm is cool but the sound u used are not.

the guitarish sound is quite nice to the ears. The synth is cool but is very low i the spectrum and sometimes you cannot hear the the detail of the low end.

I like that you give away these details about how you made it. gives me a better insight. I gotta say, I am not a big fan of house music. But it sound ok actually.

The mixing is pretty nice. A well balanced and safe track. At some points I wish the echo piano thing to be a bit louder. But that is very subjective though.

SOme part make me loose intrest sometimes but that is probably cause I am not a fan of house music.

Good review. I hope to see more of these in the portal :) Nice to hear that you liked it even though you are not a fan of the genre.

I kept the piano at this level because it had some volume issues I think. You wouldn't hear it, but on the mixer it went up from around -8 dB to -4 dB so I had to tone it down. However, I think the mastering kind of squished it though. But then again this is my first half-decent mastering work on a track so ;p
