RPG?

You done a really good job on the composition.

Although it sounds indeed quite good for a RPG I do not agree on the fact that RPG should sound like this. I mean why can't RPG have the good quality sounds that regular music has? I'm talking mainly about the main melody. its very sterile and sounds like it came from cheap keyboard :P

Nevertheless I vote 5 cause the composition is very unique compared to other stuff around here!

RPG's do, usually, have just as much quality as "regular" music. RPG composers tend to use instruments that are more orchestra based and mix and match odd ones to get an odd sound sometimes.

It's just the way it works....usually.

I like it quite a bit

I'm gonna say the intro is a bit too lang although very cool. It would not be a problem if the drum part was longer cause now the beat part is less then half the track. Working your way to the climax is really nice. The Piano and "cello" sound a bit too static using either velocity variations, swing factors or if the virtual instruments support legato options would sure help.

But you sure made it worth your efforts man!

I like off beat. but this doesnt sound like off beat it sounds like you made mistakes durning editing. watch out for the thin line there is right there.

Polishing. Definitely. As far as things being on beat. Things are timed and in beat. I tried to add a swing to the drums to make it sound more like a 'solo' of sorts. Its hard to obtain with software though! Should check out my other NG name, i havent used this account in a very long time: "AloysiusRexford". Haha, i've changed quite a bit from here : P

Remember a track can only be too slow but never too fast. :P But since I never heard the original I have to say I like what you did.
